1. Service Description
Signature Letters provides professional handwritten note services for businesses and individuals. Our service includes the creation of authentic handwritten correspondence using real pen and ink, addressing, stamping, and mailing of notes on your behalf.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order or subscribing to any of our plans.
2. SMS Communications
By providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Signature Letters regarding:
- Order confirmations and updates
- Delivery notifications
- Service reminders
- Account-related messages
These are transactional messages related to your service and are not marketing communications. Message frequency varies based on your service activity.
3. Opting Out of SMS
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message
- Contacting us at contact@signatureletters.com
- Calling us at (612) 555-1234
You will receive a confirmation message when you opt-out. You may continue to receive messages for a short period while your opt-out request is processed.
4. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply for any SMS messages sent to you by Signature Letters or your replies to us. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Messages are sent using short code or long code numbers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Signature Letters is not responsible for issues arising from your carrier's service, including but not limited to:
- Network outages or delays
- Message delivery failures
- Text message fees charged by your carrier
- Compatibility issues with your device
6. Pricing and Payment
Our services are offered on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing tiers include:
- Essential: 50 handwritten notes per month
- Professional: 100 handwritten notes per month
- Volume: 200 handwritten notes per month
Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle. We accept major credit cards and process payments securely through our payment provider. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
7. Founding Member Rates
Founding Member pricing is available exclusively to our first 15 clients. If you qualify for Founding Member status, your discounted rate is guaranteed for 6 months from your enrollment date, regardless of subsequent price changes.
After the 6-month founding member period, your subscription will automatically transition to the standard rate unless otherwise negotiated. You will receive advance notice before any rate change takes effect.
8. Service Delivery
We are committed to timely delivery of your handwritten notes. Our standard service timeline is as follows:
- Orders received by the 1st of the month will be completed and mailed within 5-7 business days
- Rush orders may be available for an additional fee
- Delivery times via USPS are not guaranteed and depend on postal service performance
You are responsible for providing accurate recipient addresses and message content. We will make reasonable efforts to verify addresses but are not liable for undeliverable mail due to incorrect information provided by you.
9. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via email. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active through the end of your current billing period
- No refunds will be issued for the current month's subscription fee
- Any unused notes from your current month's allocation will not roll over or be refunded
- You may resubscribe at any time, subject to then-current pricing
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for violation of these terms, non-payment, or misuse of our services.
10. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you provide to us, including message text, recipient lists, and any logos or branding materials. By submitting content, you grant Signature Letters a limited license to use this content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your orders.
The Signature Letters name, logo, website design, and proprietary processes are our intellectual property and may not be used without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Signature Letters provides handwritten note services on an "as is" basis. While we strive for the highest quality, we make no warranties regarding:
- The response rate or business results you may achieve from using our service
- Delivery times, which are dependent on postal service performance
- Minor variations in handwriting style or appearance
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
13. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Signature Letters services. By using our service, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.
